A three-year-old boy drove his toy motorbike to a busy downtown street Monday afternoon in an east China city, ignorant of the danger. Luckily a local police officer spotted the kid timely and led him down the street safely. 21일 중국 동부 저장(浙江)성 원저우(溫州)에서 세 살배기 사내아이가 위험한 일인지 알지 못한 채 장난감 오토바이를 몰고 교통이 혼잡한 차도에 들어섰다. 다행히도 현지 경찰관이 아이를 제때 발견해 안전한 곳으로 옮겼다.
The police officer, surnamed Zhang, said he spotted the boy at about 17:30 Monday. 장 씨 성을 가진 이 경찰관은 21일 오후 5시 30분경 아이를 발견했다고 말했다.
"It took place at about 17:30 yesterday afternoon during rush hour, with huge passenger and traffic flows," said Zhang. [장 씨 / 경찰관] “어제(21일) 오후 5시 30분경 이 일이 일어났습니다. 교통량이 매우 많은 때였습니다.”
Surveillance footage captured at the scene showed that the boy drove his toy motorbike onto a busy downtown street in Wenzhou, east China's Zhejiang Province at about 17:35. Buses and cars were driving passing by the boy. It was really dangerous as a bus and a car drove ahead on to the boy in the middle of the street. 감시 카메라에 포착된 영상은 오후 5시 35분경 아이가 교통이 혼잡한 원저우 시내의 네거리에서 자신의 장난감 오토바이를 타고 가는 모습을 보여준다. 버스들과 승용차들이 아이의 옆을 지나간다. 버스와 승용차가 아이를 향해 달려올 수 있어 정말로 위험한 상황이었다.
Zhang noticed the situation and led the boy down the street immediately, safe and sound. 장 씨는 이 상황을 알아차리고 즉시 아이를 차도 밖으로 안전하게 옮겼다.
The boy was then taken away by his grandfather who rushed to find him. 아이는 자신을 찾으러 달려온 할아버지와 함께 집으로 돌아갔다.
He took care of his grandson everyday as the boy's parents went to work, said the boy's grandfather. 할아버지는 아이의 부모가 일을 하러 가기 때문에 자신이 매일 손자를 돌본다고 말했다.
He also said the he had always kept a good eye on the boy but the boy went missing at the time when the old man went to the toilet. 그는 또 항상 아이에게서 시선을 떼지 않지만 이날은 자신이 화장실에 간 사이 손자가 없어졌다고 말했다.
