The relationship between wild felines and man has not been very cordial and frequent conflicts occur between them. Attacks by wild animals on humans in India are on the rise due to the depleting forest cover and shortage of prey in the wild, which force the animals to stray from the jungles. Development pressures and encroachment into forest areas have brought humans and the wild cats into conflict, and there have been reports of villagers brutally killing the animals. ½£ Áö¿ª¿¡ ´ëÇÑ °³¹ß ¿ä±¸¿Í Àá½ÄÀ¸·Î ÀÎÇØ Àΰ£°ú ¾ß»ý °í¾çÀÕ°ú µ¿¹° »çÀÌ¿¡´Â °¥µîÀÌ ¹ß»ýÇϰí ÀÖÀ¸¸ç, ÁֹεéÀÌ µ¿¹°µéÀ» ÀÜȤÇÏ°Ô Á×À̰í ÀÖ´Â °ÍÀ¸·Î º¸°íµÇ°í ÀÖ´Ù.
